Fall 2023 Executive Committee Members

President: Feiyu Chen

Long prevailing in history, accounting is a technical tool used to record and analyze the operating situation of an economic institute. It serves as a monitor for the management board to maintain the healthy operation of a company and derive effective strategies to expand. Aspire to become an influential figure in the business world, I strive to turn accounting into my honed weapon, assisting me in galloping in the business kingdom.

My undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon equipped me with the number-crunching capability to crunch numbers and explore the stories behind those numbers.

From fundamental works such as cash transactions, bank settlement, registration journal, and monthly statements, I worked step by step to extent my job responsibilities. Meanwhile, it embedded me with the consciousness of safety. In addition to recording every transaction accurately, I had to keep the financial statements, various company seals, and checks. All these works trained my patience and circumspection.

With further education from YU master’s program, I will gain a competitive advantage in the job market. I wish to kick off my career at one of the Big Four accounting firms and obtain promotions along with the years I work there. After acquiring sufficient work experience and professional skills, I will transfer to a multinational company for a management position like the financial manager or CFO. I would love to function as a think tank of the company and partake in fierce business competitions.

And that is the bio from me. Let’s connect!
